Karkala: DJ Malcolm wins Hangout's War of DJs

Karkala, Oct 26: ‘War of DJs' contest crowned DJ Malcolm as the ultimate winner and offered him a cash prize. This enlivening event was organised by Hangout, at Hotel Ujala, Belman, on Saturday, October 22.

DJ Joe bagged the second place in this contest and was also handed out a cash prize.

DJ Karthik compèred the competition and ushered the competitors onto the stage. With his unique style of hosting, he added an extra flavour to the entire event.




























Each DJ was set the task of spinning tracks for a maximum of 20 minutes, leaving the choice of genre to their own discretion. During their 20 minute set, each DJ was judged by his technical aptitude and his ability to entertain the crowd with music.

The judges described all four participants as absolutely stunning and extremely talented. The selection of a winner was difficult amid stiff competition.

Each competitor entertained the crowd with his unique style of DJing. Everyone in the audience enjoyed the weekend holiday.
 
Danny, Vipin and Toxic judged the event. The owner of the club, Harish Shetty, was also present there.
