Abu Dhabi, 19: Emirates India Fraternity Forum (EIFF) with the help of UAE government authorities and Indian consulate here managed to repatriate the body of
an Indian expatriate girl who expired in a road accident in Madinat (Beda) Zayed, in the western part of the city.
Taha Khan, (9) daughter of Maqsood Ahmed Khan and Taiyaba Zubair from Basavangudi, Bengalure died of a head injury in a road mishap that occurred on Friday October 14 night while travelling with her family. EIFF arranged the documentation from the traffic department, consulted Indian consultancy and cargo service to repatriate the body to India at the earliest. The body flow to India on October 15 and reached Bengaluru International Airport at 11.30 pm.
Relatives and friends of Maqsood Ahmed Khan had approached EIFF to repatriate his daughter's body. With the timely help of the EIFF volunteers the dead body was
repatriated to India on the same day.The deceased is survived by her parents and a sister.
Relatives and family members and Maqsood Ahmed Khan's sponsor have appreciated the Emirates India Fraternity Forum’s efforts to dispatch the body to India. The embassy's community affairs officers extended their support.
