Udupi: Thieves enter house, cash, valuable jewellery stolen

Udupi, Oct 19: A group of thieves had broken open a house named 'Mudumane Nivasa' at Perampalli and decamped with cash and jewellery from there. The theft occurred between October 13 and 17 while the inmates of the house were away. The thieves had broken open the main metal door and later the inside wooden door. They decamped
with 72 gram gold jewellery; 150 grams silver ornaments and Rs 44,000 cash from the house.

The total value of items stolen is said to be Rs 2,66,000. A police complaint was registered at Manipal police station.
