New Delhi, Oct 17 (IANS): Dell-EMC on Monday unveiled a new range of all-flash storage systems to help its existing and new set of customers build modern data centres.

Dell-EMC, part of Dell Technologies, launched "VMAX 250F" enterprise-class all-flash storage with game-changing economics. The company also announced updates to the Unity family of storage for the modern data centre as part of its "All Flash Week". 

"2016 is the 'Year of All-Flash' for primary storage and enterprise customers want to enable their business with modern data centres. With rich data services, reliability and universal support, the new range of products and updates re-defines the modern data centre," said Syed Masroor, Director-Flash storage, Dell-EMC.

Dell-EMC also introduced integrated file tiering to the public cloud (including Virtustream), along with intelligent analytics through the new CloudIQ cloud-based storage analytics platform.

The company announced that the XtremIO All-Flash Array (AFA) surpassed another set of customer and revenue milestones, with EMC (now part of Dell-EMC after the $67 billion merger), registering a 40 per cent revenue share according to a International Data Corporation (IDC) report.

Since its November 2013 debut, XtremIO has received more than 3,000 customers and $3 billion in total sales.
