Beijing, Oct 10 (IANS): Chinese stocks opened higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.52 per cent, at 3,020.46 points.
The smaller Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.42 per cent higher at 10,612.21 points, Xinhua news agency reported.
The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was up 0.74 per cent to open at 2,165.85 points.
