Goa Congress wants opinion poll on casino issue

Panaji, Sep 14 (IANS): The Congress in Goa on Wednesday demanded an opinion poll on whether the coastal state should continue to have casinos.

"The time has come for an opinion poll on the issue of casinos... Casinos have made Goa into a vice capital of India," Congress state President Luizinho Faleiro said.

Goa has five offshore casinos and nearly a dozen onshore casinos.
