Mumbai, Aug 22: Bharath Co-operative Bank opened their 100th branch at Khar west on Saturday morning, August 20. MP Gopal Shetty, chief guest untied the ribbon and inaugurated the new branch.
The inauguration was led by bank executive president Jaya C Suvarna. Senior Tulu Kannadiga Bunts law board founder president M D Shetty and Gopal Shetty lit the traditional lamp and set the ATM services in
motion. Jaya Suvarna inaugurated the safe deposit locker services.
“The 100th branch of the bank is the result of Jaya Suvarna's uninterrupted efforts. His team's devotion, definite vision and patience have made it possible. All of them are inspiration for us,”
said former Ahar president Narayana Alva.
Businessmen Praful Gosa, Shanker K of Suvarna Bar, Padmakar Kotian, Shyama S Suvarna Pune praised the way the 100 branches opened.
Bank's senior officials, hundreds of customers, shareholders and well wishers were present. Amith and Sonal Gujaria couple were in charge of religious rituals. Kritika Kotian welcomed the guests. The bank's DGM and progress department head Mohandas Hejmadi spoke about th bank's one hundred branches achievements and compered the programme. Branch manager Karunakar B Suvarna proposed the vote of thanks.
