New Delhi, Aug 22 (IANS): Chinese smartphone-maker Gionee on Monday launched a new smartphone S6s in India that will help enhance the selfie experience of its customers.
The Rs 17,999 smartphone sports 5.5-inch full-HD IPS In-cell display and is powered by MT6753 octa-core processor paired up with 3GB of RAM and a fingerprint sensor.
"Earlier this year, we announced our mission to launch products that are intuitive, future ready, stylish and high on performance. The S6s delivers on each of these parameters and will change the way India clicks selfies," Arvind R Vohra, Managing Director and Country CEO, Gionee India, told reporters here.
The device sports 13MP auto-focus rear camera and 8MP front camera with flash.
The pixel size of the front camera sensor is 1.4µm which can catch more light in the low-light conditions and make the picture much brighter.
The device has 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB and runs on Amigo 3.2 user interface on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and houses 3,150mAh battery.
