Dubai, Aug 17: Karnataka Cultural Foundation – KCF in the city will be organizing a confluence regarding India's 70th independence anniversary in the city on Friday August 19 at 7.30 pm at Musalla Tower near Al Fahidi Metro Station, Bur Dubai. The event will be graced by prominent scholars and will be attended by distinguished guests.
KCF Dubai president, Mehboob Raahman Saqafi Kinya will presided over the function. The grand
ceremony will be inaugurated by Sheikh Bava Haji general secretary of KCF International Committee. The message of India's Independence Day will be conveyed by Abdul Hameed Saadi, chairman of KCF National Committee of UAE, Usman Haji Napoklu KCF UAE general secretary, Sarvathoma Shetty chairman of Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha and Frank Fernandes businessman Dubai respectively.
On the occasion Abdul Rauf, non-resident and resident of Kotekar Mangaluru will be honored for his
outstanding contribution in art. He has crafted 37 ships from waste materials. As part of literature promotion, KCF Dubai had conducted an essay writing competition titled 'Sovereign India and Indians'.
The winner will be honored at the venue along with other winners of various competitions.

Kedumbadi, Hussain Haji Kinya, PMH Abdul Hameed Eshwara Mangila, M Ebrahim Mulur, Abdul Lathif Mulky Sharjah, Ashraf Haji Adyar, Abdul Razak Haji Sharjah,KH Mohammed Saqafi Abu Dhabi, Abdul Khader Sa’adi Ajman and Abdul Razak Haji Natekal Al Ain will be participating in the function.
KCF Dubai requests all the non-residents to participate in the scheduled programme and assist in making the programme a grand success.
