New Delhi, Aug 11 (IANS): The US software company Tableau Software on Thursday announced the availability of its data analytic platform Tableau 10 in India which makes easier interacting with data on the web, mobile or enterprise.
With over 30 new features and a dynamic interface, Tableau 10 is designed to be faster and easier.
"According to Nasscom's recent report, the big data analytics sector in India is expected to witness an eight-fold growth to reach $16 billion by 2025 from the current $2 billion," said Deepak Ghodke, Country Manager, India, Tableau, in a statement.
Tableau 10's new Device Designer allows users to create dashboards that automatically render the right size and views for a range of devices, including Android phones.
It also gives users an option to further customise views in a single file so they can create several device specific views and just publish once.
For developers, new APIs have been added to Tableau to enable them to write custom applications that leverage data or to embed business intelligence into virtually any app or website.
