OPPO launches F1s, the new 'selfie expert'


Mumbai, Aug 3 (IANS): China-based OPPO on Wednesday launched the upgraded selfie expert “OPPO F1s” smartphone at Rs 17,990 in India.

The F1s comes with a 16MP front camera and a fingerprint reader. 

It also sports a 5.5-inch screen, an Octa-core processor backed with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and 3075mAh battery.

“OPPO has a rich experience in camera technology and has been the industry leader with several accolades and awards to its credit,” said Sky Li, OPPO Global Vice President, MD of International Mobile Business and President of OPPO India.

The front-facing fingerprint recognition is able to recognise a fingerprint to unlock the phone in just 0.22 seconds. 

The F1s comes with the latest beautification feature called Beautify 4.0. The front camera and the beautification feature together help users click perfect selfies. 

“We are carrying this legacy forward and stepping up the selfie revolution by launching the upgraded selfie expert F1s to share advanced photography technology with an even wider range of users in India,” he added.

The company will begin the first sale of F1s in leading stores across the country from August 11-13. 

Users can also buy the products online on Amazon from August 11.
