Oman Air makes emergency landing in Goa after cardiac arrest


Panaji, July 28 (IANS): An Oman Air flight from Muscat to Chennai made an emergency landing at Goa's Dabolim international airport on Thursday after a woman passenger suffered a cardiac arrest and died.

The passenger, a senior citizen identified as Sheikha, was declared dead on arrival at the Chicalim Cottage Hospital where she was rushed to along with her relatives who were also on the flight.

After de-boarding the ailing passenger, the flight resumed its course on to Chennai.
