Panaji, Nov 14: The capital is all set and busy gearing up for the mega event of Indian and world cinema.
Preparations are on its highest peak for the forthcoming 38th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) scheduled from Friday November 23 to Monday December 3 here.
This year the festival is planning to accommodate more than 6,000 delegates from all over the world excluding the media. Head of the IFFI organizing committee Vishnu Wagh stated that the festival will basically focus on pure cinema excluding everything else.
This year the main highlight of the festival will be the first-time participation of Pakistan. The festival will be inaugurated by Bollywood megastar Sharukh Khan on Friday November 23 at Kala Academy.
