Udupi, Jun 24: Government of Karnataka through a notification dated Friday, June 24 has ordered the transfer of Dr R Vishal hitherto deputy commissioner (DC) of Udupi district with immediate effect.
Dr Vishal has been transferred to Bengaluru as director of municipal administration.

Priyanka Mary Francis, CEO of Zilla Panchayat (ZP), will discharge the duties of DC in the district until a new appointment is made by the government.
The government has transferred 26 IAS officers on Friday.
