Jet Airways to start Mangaluru - Sharjah direct flight from Aug 7

Sharjah, Jun 9 : Jet Airways has announced new flights from Mangaluru to Sharjah, UAE from August 7.

The inaugural flight will start fromMangaluru at 9.30 am and land in Sharjah at 11.45 am.

The return flight from Sharjah starts at 12.45pm , and reach Mangaluru at 5.55 pm.

This will be third direct flight operation from Jet Airways to UAE destinations. There are already daily flights operating from Dubai and Abu Dhabi to Mangaluru International Airport.

Sharjah-Mangalore Economy Fare starting from AED 509 one way and AED 1144 for Round Trip. Premium Fare is AED 1839 one way and AED 3044 for Round Trip. This is introductory offer & all inclusive.

    Air India aircraft are badly maintained. Some of the seats we can feel the metal foundation as the cushioning has been worn out. They are over using these aircraft for revenue purposes. I wish they are grounded and the seats done up for comfort of the passenger. It is very uncomfortable to sit continuously for 3.5 hrs on those seats.

    Thats a good sign !! it would be awesome if Jet Airways begins a Direct flight to Kuala Lumpur. There are lots of Students and other tourists in Manipal as well as in and around Mangalore who travel to Malaysia every month..

    It is actually the work of Oscar Fernandes. Oscar met Naresh Goyal Chairman of Jet Airways and discussed this issue for over an hour. Mr.Goyal also promised to start Mangalore - Bahrain - Kuwait and Mangalore - Muscut - Doha daily flights.
