New Delhi, Jun 1 (IANS): State-run oil marketers on Wednesday hiked prices of non-subsidised cooking gas and aviation turbine fuel (ATF), a day after increasing petrol and diesel prices.
The price of non-subsidised cooking gas, which consumers buy after exhausting their quota of 12 cylinders per year, has been raised by Rs.21 per 14.2-kg cylinder. It will now cost Rs 548.50 in Delhi as against Rs 527.50 previously.
The hike comes after another hike the previous month. Prices were raised by Rs 18 on May 1.
Rates vary according to different local levies.
The price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF), or jet fuel, was also increased by 9.2 per cent.
The ATF price in Delhi has been hiked by Rs 3,945.47 per kilolitre, or 9.2 per cent, to Rs 46,729.48 per kl. The much steeper hike comes after 1.48 per cent hike, or by Rs 627 per kl on May 1.
The petrol price was hiked by Rs 2.58 a litre and diesel by Rs 2.26 per litre late on Tuesday.
