Panaji, Oct 29: The 5th round of MRF National supercross championship was held in Goa on Sunday, October 28. The exciting and thrilling event was held on the Parade grounds at Campal, Panaji.

Goans witnessed a three-cornered fight in Indian Experts Group A Class 1 with Karan Kadam, Santosh Kadam (both of TVS, Bangalore) and Yogesh Barguje.

Along with the A Class, around 125 participants displayed their talents in seven other categories - Class 1 Indian Experts Group B, Class 2 Indian Experts Group B, Class 3 Indian Experts Group B, Class 4 Indian Novice Group D, Class 5 Indian Open Experts Group B, Class 6 Indian Experts Group D, Class 7 Locals Group B and Class 8 Intermediate Group A.

The track circuit plan was prepared by motorcross legends of yesteryear Pratap Bhagwat and Ashok Yende. The track which was measuring almost 800 metres in length consisted of 7 double jumps, 1 triple jumps and 3 single jumps, berms and a section of the 8 whoop de doos.
