UAE, May 7: Thumbay Moideen, founder president of UAE-based international business conglomerate Thumbay Group, delivered the keynote address at the 18th national seminar in hospital and healthcare management, Medico Legal Systems and Clinical Research. The seminar was organized by Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), a constituent of Symbiosis International University (SIU), at the university campus in Lavale, Pune, India. He was the chief guest of the inaugural function at the seminar.
The national seminar is organized as an ideal platform for new ideas, uprising segments/verticals, global standards and is a forum for industry and academia nationally and globally. Adv Ram Jethmalani, former union law minister of India was the guest of honor at the inaugural function.
Dr S B Majumdar, founder and president of Symbiosis and chancellor of SIU presided over the function. Dr Rajani Gupte, vice chancellor of SIU and Dr Vidya Yeravdekar, principal director of Symbiosis were also present.
With the three core businesses of education, healthcare and research, Thumbay Group has established the largest network of private academic hospitals in the Middle East region, known as Thumbay Hospital.
Thumbay Hospital also has its presence in Hyderabad – India and new hospitals in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Ghana are set to open soon.
