Mumbai, May 4: Grace Pinto, MD, Ryan International Group of Institutions was recognized as one of the selected individuals for felicitation on May 1 at the Raj Bhavan by the Governor of Maharashtra, C H Vidyasagar Rao in the presence of CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis on the occasion of Maharashtra Day.

She was felicitated for her outstanding contribution in the field of education. Among others who were felicitated were Union Minister of Railways, Suresh Prabhu, noted film actor Aamir Khan and former DGP Julio Ribeiro.

Speaking on the occasion Pinto said, “Our role as educators is to create and nurture an environment to bring about positive social transformation. For close to four decades we have worked tirelessly for the same. This recognition only motivates me to work hard for the children of India to help them make a mark in the rapidly evolving global arena. I am deeply grateful to my Lord Jesus Christ and thank the Honorable Governor and chief minister for bestowing this honour on me.”
