Udupi, Oct 13: Lightning struck the house of Sridhar Bangera, injuring a boy and damaging various electrical equipments on Wednesday October 10 night.
The boy, Deepesh suffered minor injuries when the lightening struck the house in Niampalli here on Wednesday October 10 night, said the Udupi town police here on Thursday October 11.
The police further said that the electrical wiring of the house got burnt damaging electrical equipments such as lights, fans, television etc. Cracks have also been developed in some of the walls of the house. The damage is estimated at Rs. 3 lac, the police added.
