Mangalore, Oct 12:
A three-day programme, for the cartoonists of Karnataka, will be organized by the  Corporation Bank officers' organization at Corporation Bank Officers' Organization (CBOO) centre, Kodialbail here from Saturday October13 to Monday October 15, said TR Bhat chairman, CBOO at press club  here on Thursday October 11.
 
On the spot caricature drawing will be inaugurated on Saturday October 13 by Sandhya Pai, editor, Taranga Kannada weekly. Dhundiraj Bhat, famous humouirist will be the chief guest and will speak on humour and cartoons. The gathering will be addressed by H B Manjunath, president, Karnataka Cartoonists' Organization.
 
The programme will consist of caricature drawing, exhibition of cartoons, workshops for high-school students to draw cartoons, he informed.
 
Addressing press persons Bhat said that the cartoons of the cartoonists HB Manjunath, president, Karnataka Cartoonists' Association, S V Padmanabha, Vijay Karnataka, Gujjarappa, Mohammad P, Prajavani, GS Naganath, Prakash Shetty, The Week, Harishchandra Shetty, James Vaz, Taranga, HS Vishwanath, Corporation Bank, Bangalore, will be exhibited during the programme.
 
The exhibition will be followed by a workshop for high-school students on drawing cartoons followed by a competition on a particular theme. Both these events will be inaugurated by N Yogish Bhat, MLA, Mangalore. Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, president, Karnataka Sahitya Parishat, DK HB Manjunath, president will address the gathering on the occasion, he detailed.
 
Kaushik Gosh, general secretary, DN Prakash, president, CBOO were present during the meet.
