Pinky Reddy appointed VP of FICCI Ladies Organisation


Hyderabad, Apr 15 (IANS): Aparna Pinky Reddy, a well-known entrepreneur from Hyderabad, has been appointed vice president of the FICCI Ladies Organization(FLO), the apex body of industry and commerce in India.

Pinky Reddy is one of the promoters of GVK Power and Infrastructure Ltd, a diversified infrastructure company listed on BSE and NSE and also a promoter in other GVK Group companies.

Rekha Lahoti, chairperson of FLO Hyderabad, said it was a moment of great pride that one of the members from Hyderabad chapter appointed the national vice president.

"The 500 plus members of the FLO Hyderabad chapter, is one of the biggest chapters in the country, wish Pinky all the very best in her endeavour," said Rekha.

This is the first time where a national office bearer has been chosen from Hyderabad. Pinky Reddy will grow one more step further next year and will take over as national president of FLO in the year 2018-2019.

FLO is a 32 year old national body and has 5000 women entrepreneurs and professionals.

It has 13 chapters spread across the country with its head office in Delhi.

The objective of the organization is to encourage and facilitate women to showcase their talents, skills, experiences and energies across sectors and verticals of the economy, for a truly inclusive economic growth trajectory.
