Mumbai, Apr 4 (IANS): Key Indian equity indices was trading higher on Monday morning following global cues.
The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), was trading 113.49 points, or 0.45 percent higher during the morning session.
The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 40.30 points, or 0.52 percent higher at 7,753.35 points.
The Sensex of the BSE, which opened at 25,333.98 points, was trading at 25,383.13 points (at 9.18 a.m.) in the early session, higher 113.49 points, or 0.45 percent from the previous day's close at 25,269.64 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 25,414.91 points and a low of 25,322.36 points in the trade so far.
