Two minor runaways from Kerala rescued in Goa

Panaji, Mar 2 (IANS): The Konkan Railway on Tuesday said that two minor boys who ran away from their homes in Kasargod in Kerala were rescued from Goa's Madgaon railway station.

The boys, both aged 14, were found unaccompanied on Platform number one at the railway station by Railway Protection Force personnel late on Monday.

They ran away from their homes as their parents abused them for poor academic performance.

The children were kept in safe custody with the RPF and handed over to their parents, who arrived from Kerala earlier on Tuesday.
