'Game of Thrones' co-creator spills no beans to wife

Los Angeles, Feb 20 (IANS): It seems the fate of Jon Snow’s character is still hanging between life and death. Actress Amanda Peet says her husband and “Game of Thrones” co-creator David Benioff has kept fate of Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington, a secret from her as well.

The “Togetherness” star made the confessions about her husband of 10 years on "Today" show on Thursday, read a statement.

The 44-year-old star said that she was unsure whether Jon Snow would be making a comeback. The final episode of the fifth season showed Jon Snow, one of the main characters essayed by Harington, lying lifeless in the snow. And since then the audience is rooting for Harington to come back.

“They shouldn't be and I'm not happy either,” Peet said, referring to fans being upset and not happy with the lack of updates on the character’s well-being.

“It's ridiculous and not good. Yeah, and I hope that I'll stay married to him after this season begins,” Peet quipped.

Recently released "Game of Thrones" character photographs revealed which characters survived the final episode of season five, and which did not. However, Harington's character was not among the 23 images.

Jon Snow's fate will be revealed to Indian fans in April with the new season. English channel Star World Premiere will bring the much anticipated season six of the HBO series to India right after its US telecast in April this year.

Seasons one to five are being aired on Star World and Star World HD. The show tells the story of families vying for a throne.
