Chennai, Feb 15 (IANS): Actor R. Madhavan might be seen essaying the role of a shootout specialist in a yet-untitled Tamil film, which will be directed by husband-wife duo of Pushkar-Gayathri, according to the grapevine.
"The makers are in talks with Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi to play the lead roles. While Madhavan will be seen as an encounter specialist, Vijay will essay the role of a gangster. Both of them are yet to sign on the dotted lines," a source close to Madhavan told IANS.
Tentatively titled "Vikram-Veda", the film will be produced by S. Sashikanth of Y Not Studios.
"The lead cast will be finalised by April. If everything goes as planned, the team plans to start shooting from May," the source said.
Madhavan's latest film "Irudhi Suttru", in which he played a boxing coach, has turned out to be a successful venture.
