Margao, Sep 12: Two persons were arrested in Curtorim on charges of organizing the 'dhiryo' (a local term for bullfights).

Although there is a ban on bullfights, they are reportedly held at several places in Goa.

Franky Gomes (32) and Anthony Gomes (25) were arrested and later released on bail in this connection. Two other accused  fled the scene, but the police say they will be arrested.

Maina Curtorim police are investigating the case.
