New Delhi, Jan 30 (IANS): Google on Saturday paid tribute to India's eminent painter Amrita Sher-Gil by dedicating a doodle of her famous painting of three girls on her 103rd birth anniversary.
Born to a Punjabi Sikh father and a Hungarian Jewish mother on January 30, 1913, she was also known as India's Frida Kahlo.
"Today's Doodle honours the 'Indian Frida Kahlo', who left no holds barred in her work, or in her life," a statement on Google Doodle's official website mentioned.
"Her paintings speak volumes of her passionate lifestyle and relentless desire to express herself through her canvasses," the statement added.
