Los Angeles, Jan 28 (IANS): Country superstars Carrie Underwood and Sam Hunt will hit the stage together at the Grammys this year with a duet performance.
Grammy nominees James Bay and Ellie Goulding will also perform at the 58th annual awards ceremony here. While Bay will team up with Tori Kelly, Andra Day will croon with Goulding.
The Recording Academy announced on Wednesday the names of the performers for three live duets for the ceremony, read a statement.
Previously announced performers include Adele, Kendrick Lamar, Little Big Town, and The Weekend. Additional performers will be announced shortly.
The performance will mark the debut for Bay, Day, Goulding, Hunt and Kelly at the Grammys.
Bay is nominated for three awards -- Best New Artist, Best Rock Song for "Hold back the river" and Best Rock Album for "Chaos And The Calm", while Day is nominated for two awards in the R&B field -- Best R&B Performance for "Rise up" and Best R&B Album for "Cheers To The Fall".
Goulding's popular song "Love me like you do" became her ticket to the Grammys. The song, which also featured in film "Fifty Shades of Grey", is nominated in Best Pop Solo Performance category. The song is also nominated for Best Song Written For Visual Media.
Hunt is up for two awards: Best New Artist and Best Country Album for "Montevallo". And Kelly is nominated for Best New Artist.
Seven-time Grammy winner Carrie Underwood is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance for "Little toy guns".
The ceremony will also feature a special tribute to 2016 MusiCares Person of the Year Lionel Richie.
Hosted by two-time Grammy winner LL Cool J, the annual musical night will be held at the Staples Center here on February 15, and will be telecast simultaneously in India on Vh1 on February 16.
