Beijing, Jan 26 (IANS): Chinese stocks opened lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.05 percent at 2,907.72 points.
The smaller Shenzhen index opened 1.11 percent lower at 10,079.22 points, reports Xinhua.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 1.23 percent to open at 2,132.22 points.
