Kolkata, Jan 26 (IANS): Nilendu Shinde returned as skipper as Bengal Warriors on Monday unveiled their squad for the third season of the Pro-Kabaddi League.
Among the players brought in by the franchise to strengthen the squad are Girish Maruti Ernak (Patna Pirates), Nitin More (Puneri Paltan), Srikanth Jhadhav (Jaipur Pink Panthers) and Felix Odhiambo Opnana (Nigeria). There are three fresh faces in Krushna Madane, Narendar and Umesh Mhatre.
On the team, Bengal Warriors coach Pratap Shetty said there was a fine balance between the defence and attack.
"We are looking to play aggressive and entertain the crowd, showcasing the true spirit of our Indian sport," he said.
The third season of the Pro-Kabaddi League features eight teams in a caravan format. The Kolkata chapter will be played between February 7 and 10.
