Ras Al Khaimah, Jan 25: Thumbay Group’s healthcare division expanded its network of affordable family clinics with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Thumbay Clinic, along with an outlet of Thumbay Pharmacy here. The group also plans to add one more Thumbay Clinic as well as several outlets of Thumbay Pharmacy in the city.
The new clinic and pharmacy were inaugurated by Sheikh Ahmad Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone Authority, in the presence of Thumbay Group founder president Thumbay Moideen, vice president of the healthcare division of Thumbay Group Akbar Moideen Thumbay and members of the administrative team of Thumbay Group on Sunday January 24.
The newly opened clinic, complete with laboratory services, is the latest addition to Thumbay Group’s growing number of healthcare services, focusing primarily on personalized services, convenience and affordability. The clinic has various departments including obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, general surgery, internal medicine, general medicine, radiology and laboratory services. Highly qualified specialists are in place to treat the patients. An outlet of Thumbay Pharmacy, offering the complete range of medical equipment and rehabilitation care products is located adjacent to the new clinic.
Akbar Moideen Thumbay said that Thumbay Group’s healthcare division would open many more such clinics and pharmacies across the UAE, in the next two years. “With a strong market presence and diversified businesses, Thumbay Group is all set to expand its healthcare division. We are looking forward to acquire existing clinics and pharmacies also and would welcome proposals for the same,” he added. He also reiterated Thumbay Group’s commitment to work towards providing high-quality, patient focused, cost-effective healthcare to the communities served.
