New Delhi, Jan 22 (IANS): As the capital gears up for the Republic Day celebrations, a restaurant here is preparing a special brunch for the occasion, infusing Indian and French elements.
The special feast will be laid out at The Qube at The Leela Palace here.
With French President Francois Hollande as the guest of honour at the Republic Day parade suggesting deepening of India's ties with the European nation, it only seems fit that the restaurant's French executive chef and Indian Master Chef have teamed together to create a gourmet extravaganza that showcases signature classics and colourful tastes of both countries.
Some of the exquisite delicacies will feature French specials like bouillabaisse, sole meuniere, chicken grand-mere and handpicked royal Indian flavours that include Awadhi rolls and curries along with a selection of desserts inspired by the national colours of India.
The beverage experts will steer the season’s freshest mocktails and more.
