Mumbai, Aug 29: Narayan Guru Jayanthi was celebrated by Billava Association Mumbai at Billava Bhavan, Santacruz (West), on Tuesday August 28.

Former home minister and MLA, Kripashankar Singh and Malathy Kripashankar Singh who were the chief guests offered momentum for religious programmes, by lighting the lamp.  Niranjan Swamiji of Sri Annapoorneshwari Temple, Sunkadakatte graced the celebration and blessed the devotees.

The programme was presided over by Billava Association president Jaya C Suvarna.  Athmanand Swamiji of Sri Ram Temple, Kanyady in Belthangady taluk and Sri Suvarna Baba of Pancha Kutter Suvarna Temple, Powai were present to grace the occasion.

Association vice-president Y Nagesh, Vasudev R Kotian, M B Kukyan, treasurer Bhaskar V Bangera, women division president Jayanthi V Ullal, religious committee president Devendra V Bangera, honorary secretary C T Salian were present on the dais.

Namratha, Supreetha, Vinitha rendered prayers.  The programme commenced with the dance by Siddhi Bhaskar Bangera. Association honorary chief secretary, Nithyanand D Kotian welcomed and compered the programme.  Religious sub-committee honorary secretary C T Salian, proposed vote of thanks.
