Bengaluru, Dec 28: Christmas meeting of Kanara Entrepreneurs, Bengaluru was held on December 18 at Grand Magrath Hotel.
The members and their families were welcomed to a wonderfully decorated hall bearing a festive look, thanks to the Sponsors of the meeting - TILT Bar Lounge.
The meeting started with great excitement with the Emcee for the day George Timothy welcoming everybody gathered for the meeting. Keeping up with the theme for the evening by TILT -he urged everyone to Wake Up, Loosen Up and Tilt it up.
The President of Kanara Entrepreneurs – Bengaluru, Peter Anil Rego had a wonderful story to narrate about how a little boy who shared the 5 loafs of bread and 2 fish that his mother had packed for him had eventually created more food for the multitude of people that had gathered to hear the words of Jesus and the boy took back home some food too.
The President emphasised that the learning the boy received from sharing his food - “Whatever little we give, he gives you more” is one of the fundamental principle that Kanara Entrepreneurs believes – the more you give, the more you benefit. Of course not in monetary terms, but the knowledge and other goodness and forms of service that members of Kanara Entrepreneurs share with others from the society and community. He welcomed the Spouses and Children of the members and took the opportunity to thank them for being very supportive in the efforts of the Members. He wished every one best wishes for the Christmas season and the New Year.
There were 7 new Members inducted into Kanara Entrepreneurs. They were: Maxim M Pinto,Melson D’Souza, Alvin Mendonca, John Brijesh Rodrigues, Wilson Fernandes, Joseph Mathias and Pramila D’Souza.
The new Members were administered the Oath by Naveen D’Souza, Director Membership. Peter Anil Rego handed over the new Member Kit to the newly inducted members. With the end of the formal session of the Meeting, the session that followed took the proceedings to a new high.
The four Directors of the Sponsors of the Day’s meeting TILT, were called onto the stage - Pavithra Wilkins,John Wilkins, Chandrashekar and Austin D’Souza. The four, from different walks of life as varied as Construction to Medical Research to being a Techie, but ironically none specialised from the Food Industry or the Hospitality Sector, clearly showed why they got together to start this venture because they had a common passion.
The fun session of the evening was very superbly anchored by Jonathan with his deep baritone voice that kept everyone spell bound.
There was even more entertainment waiting for the kids as they had some very wonderful games.
There were games galore for the adults too.
