Mumbai: Seven books released on anniversary of Pooja Prakashana

Mumbai, Dec 26: Pooja Prakashana on the occasion of its 15th anniversary, released seven books written in Tulu language by different authors. The programme was held under the aegis of Abhinaya Samrajya Mumbai and Karnataka Sangha Mumbai in Samarasa Bhavana of Karnataka Sangha, here on Saturday December 19 evening.




























Former president of Kannada Sahithya Parishat Maharastra unit Dr G D Joshi presided over the programme. Well known author, N P Shetty was present as the chief guest. Dramatist Dayananda Salian and Kshaya monthly magazine assistant editor Harish K Hejmady introduced the books.

Anand V Anchan and Anurag A Anchan were present on the dais. Dr Sunitha M Shetty, Dr G V Kulkarni, Dr Vishwanath Karnad, Nithyananda D Kotian, Bhaskar M Kotian, Suresh S Salian, Mahesh C Karkala, Chitrapu K M Kotian, advocate Sathish N Bangera, Jaya A Shetty, Dr Ishwara Alevooru, Narayana Bhandary, G T Acharya, Kolya Raju Shetty, Petemane Prakash Shetty, Chandrashekar R Belchada, Arusha Shetty, Nithyananda Beluvayi, Sumangala Shetty, Udaya Shetty Sinmanthooru, Devadas Salian, Nagaraj Gurupura, Hema Ameen and others present on the occasion congratulated the authors.

Pooja Prakashana publisher Saraswathi Chandrahasa Suvarna, Poojashree Chandrahas Suvarna, Lilitha Kotian, Hema Haridas and Anjali Kotian presented flower bouquets to the guests and honored them. Navin Kumar J Karkera welcomed and introduced the guests, compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
