Abu Dhabi, Dec 24: Emirates India Fraternity Forum Karnataka Chapter organized a programme for expatriate Indians on life and message of Prophet Muhammad (SWAS) at New City Palace Restaurant Hall, in the city on December 17 on the occasion of Rabi-ul-Awwal month.
The programme started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Bathisha Sulliya. The programme was graced by the presence of Abdul Rasheed, president, Emirates India Fraternity Forum UAE, Abdul Majeed Aladka, chief guest of the event, and also Abdul Nasir Kankanady, owner Sana Hydraulics, Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.
Abdul Rasheed Bejai, in his presidential address explained the recent activities of Emirates India Fraternity Forum (EIFF) such as blood donation, free medical checkup camp, assistance to the needy in job search and legal assistance and various social schemes conducted by EIFF.
Abdul Majeed Aladka, presented importance of Prophet Mohammad’s (SWAS) teachings and lifestyles and explained how the prophet’s teachings were implemented by his followers as well as his teachings of equality, fraternity spread all over the world in his fight against racism. The recent ongoing incidents of intolerance in some parts of India are mainly because we have forgotten the teachings of our prophet Mohammad (SWAS) and left behind his lifestyle. Hundreds of non-resident Indians participated in the programme. The programme was compered by Iqbal Pandeshwar and he conveyed his gratitude to all.
