Mumbai, Dec 19: Vidya Prasaraka Mandala on the occasion of their golden jubilee celebrations held inter school talent competitions recently. Ghatkopar Zun Zunwala College, Kannada department head Dr R K Raghunath arrived as chief guest for the programme. He distributed prizes and awards to the winners of the competitions and wished them well.




President of the programme, sub treasurer of the Mandala, professor C J Pai presented flower bouquets and a memento to the guest.

The programme started with prayers by the students. Teacher Jyothi D Kulkarni introduced the president of the programme. Principal Nirupa Jorapu presented a flower bouquet to the president and honoured him. The headmistress Aruna Bhat presented flower bouquets to Mandala joint honorary secretary B H Katti. Teachers, staff and students were present at the programme. Teacher Ashwini and P Bangera introduced the guests and read the list of winning students. Teacher Laxmi Kenganal and Ambajeppa Katagang introduced the judges Girish Sarawada, Umapathi, Savitha Alooru, Sharanya Shenoy, Girija Shetty, Rasika Jangam and Milinda Potapode. Judges Umapathi and Girish Sarawada shared their opinions.

Teacher Chandrashekar Bannimata welcomed the gathering and compered the programme. Supervisor Rathna Kulkarni proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the national anthem.
