Serie B side Spezia knock Roma out of Coppa Italia

Roma, Dec 17 (IANS) AS Roma were knocked out of Coppa Italia football tournaent after losing against Serie B side Spezia Calcio on penalties after a goalless draw at the Stadio Olimpico.

Spezia Clasio on Wednesday qualified to the next round of the Cup after beating Roma, fifth place in Serie A, on penalties 4-2, reports Efe.

This is the seventh consecutive game in which Roma have failed to achieve victory, whether in Serie A, the Champions League or Coppa Italia.
