Mumbai: BSKB Association celebrates Children's day

Mumbai, Dec 14: BSKB association held its annual children's day celebrations at Gokula auditorium on Sunday December 13. President of the Sangha, Shailini Rao, youth wing executive president Dr Arun Rao,
Secretary P C N Rao and Youth wing office bearers lit the traditional lamp along with children who had gathered and set the programme in motion.

                    
                    

The competitions were healthy child for 2 year olds, drawing, fancy dress, essay, quiz and dance for children between 2 and 15 years of age. Several children participated and won prizes in the competitions. Dr Sahana Pothi, Dr Arun Rao, Dr Suman Rao, national Kannada education association, Vadala school teachers Shivayogi Sannamani, Geetha Borkar, Sharada Nayak, K Sandhya and Sudha Shetty cooperated by being judges in the competitions. The competitions arranged by youth wing workers in a disciplined way were enjoyed by the participating children who made good use of them.

Association president Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel presided and presented the prizes. He congratulated the children and hoped that more children may participate in the winter camp that will be held at the end of the month. He said that the talents of children will brighten up with encouragement and presented consolation prizes to all the children who participated in the competitions.

BSKBA vice president Vaman Holla, Shailini Rao, secretary P C N Rao, treasurer C A Haridas Bhat, youth wing executive president Dr Arun Rao, convener Deepak Shivathaya presented gifts to small children and congratulated them.

Programme sponsors Karnataka Bank, Haridas Bhat, Ramakrishna Rao, Nikhil Rao, Vimala Rao, Master Nivan, Girish Rao and others were honored on the occasion. Youth wing convener Vinodini Rao proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded after singing of the national anthem.
