London, Dec 11 (IANS): Leicester City's Algerian forward Riyad Mahrez ruled out his football club winning the English Premier League (EPL) this season, despite leading the table after 15 weeks.
Mahrez, who on last Sunday scored a hat-trick in the 3-0 away win over Swansea City, said he does not believe they can win the EPL and has again highlighted the importance of getting 40 points to ensure survival, reports Efe.
"I don't think we can win the League," the 24-year-old told the BBC on Thursday.
"We just need to get the 40 points and then after that we will see," he added.
Leicester currently lead the EPL table with 32 points, two points ahead of Arsenal and five points ahead of Manchester City and Manchester United.
