Mumbai, Aug 23: The inaugural ceremony of golden jubilee celebration of Karnataka Sangh, Goregaon was held at their Dr Vishweshwarayya Auditorium, Matunga West, on Monday August 20.

“Knowledge and charity are the virtues of mankind.  The humanity further strengthens when imbibed with quality education. It is commendable of the yeomen service rendered by Karnataka Sangh, in undertaking innumerable programmes for the betterment of community.  Goregaon unit of Karnataka Sangh has contributed significantly in this regard, which deserves to be appreciated,” said Sudhakar Shetty, managing director of Kohinoor Printers Pvt Ltd.

Money Fold Co-Op Credit Society chairman Suresh Bhandary Kadandale, Gokulanand Hotels Pvt Ltd, Dahisar proprietor Krishna V Acharya were the chief guest present on the dais.

Surendra S Salian Mundkoor, president of Karnataka Sangh Goregaon, presided over the programme.  

Organizing committee president, G T Acharya welcomed.  Vedha M Suvarna, Manjula Shetty, Padmaja Mannoor introduced the guests.  Honorary secretary Laxmi R Shetty compered the programme.  Joint secretary Vidhya Deshpande proposed vote of thanks.
