Mangaluru, Dec 6: Mahesh PU College, Mangaluru is organizing an exhibition on India’s achievements in space science and technology’ in collaboration with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on December 9 and 10. The highlights of the exhibition will be the scaled modules of India’s rockets (PSLV, GSLV and GSLC Mark – III), as well as many module of Indian satellites including the immensely successful Mars Orbiter Space Craft, launching of 'Saakaar' an android app based on 3D modules for students, live show of water based rocket model, display of video capsules on ISRO’s achievements and interactions with ISRO scientists. Through this venture Mahesh PU College is aiming at making the students, teachers and public aware of India’s achievements in Space and technology.
The venue of the event is Mahesh PU College, Kottara Chowki, Mangaluru and the inaugural ceremony will take place on December 9 at 9.00 am.
Dr K V Rao the director, regional science centre in Pilikula will inaugurate the event.
