Change in schedule of trains due to water overflowing at Chennai Division

Goa, Dec 3: Southern Railway (SR) has advised cancellation/rescheduling /short termination of trains on account of water overflowing at Chennai Division of Southern Railway, as per the dates mentioned below:

Cancellation of trains:
Train No 12639 Chennai Central-Bengaluru city Brindavan Express leaving Chennai at 7.50 am on December 2 was cancelled.

Train No 12640 Bengaluru city-Chennai Central Brindavan Express leaving Bengaluru city at 15.00 pm on December 2 was cancelled for want of rake.

Train No 22601 Chennai Central-Sri Satya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam (SSPN) Express leaving Chennai Central at 10.10am on December 2 was cancelled.

Rescheduling of train:
Train No 16525 Kanniya Kumari-Bengaluru city Express scheduled to leave Kanniya Kumari at 10.30 am on December 2 was rescheduled to leave Kanniya Kumari at 16.00 pm on December 2 due to late running of pairing train No 16533 Chennai Central-Kanniya Kumari Express.

Train No 22626 Bengaluru city-Chennai Double Decker Express scheduled to leave Bengaluru city station at 14.30 pm on December 2 was rescheduled to leave Bengaluru city station at 18.45 pm on December 2 due to late running of pairing train No 22625 Chennai-Bengaluru city Double Decker Express.

Short termination of train:

Train No 12658 Bengaluru city-Chennai Express journey which commenced from Bengaluru city station on December 1 at 22.40 pm was short terminated at Tiruvallur (TRL) on Southern Railway.
