Rio de Janeiro, Dec 3 (IANS): Italian champions Juventus are preparing an eight million-euro bid for Brazil international goalkeeper Alisson, the Internacional player's agent has confirmed.
The Turin club views Alisson as a potential successor to veteran captain Gianluigi Buffon. Alisson's agent, Ze Maria on Wednesday confirmed that Juventus have made an official approach for the 23-year-old, reports Xinhua.
"Juventus are one of the clubs that made an enquiry to me, among many others, but nothing concrete," Ze Maria said. "Eight million euros is good value. Alisson has attracted global interest. But we want a sports project, not just money."
Allison, who has also been linked to another Italian outfit AS Roma, is currently Brazil's first-choice goalkeeper, having made his international debut in the Selecao's 3-1 victory over Venezuela in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in October.
