Mumbai, Aug 17: The Konkani Talent competition was held at St Anne's College, Orlem, Malad here on Wednesday August 15.

The contest was organized by Konkani Bhasha Mandal under the leadership of Cyprian Albuquerque. There was an overwhelming response for the competition.

The competitions held were singing in solo, duet and group, elocution, story telling for sub juniors, juniors and seniors.

As there was packed enthusiastic audience the competition went up to late in the night, though the competition was held at two different locations. KBM office-bearers Leo Fernandes, Joy Paladka, Lawrence D’Souza and Ancy Paladka compered the competition.

Group leaders Victor Concesso Mahakali, Felix D’Souza, Malvani, Irene Rodrigues, Orlem, Leo Fernandes, Jerimeri, Jyothi D’Souza , Goregoan, William D’Souza (Vakolacho Tallo), Vakola, Gregory Sequiera, Bandra and George A Sequiera, Bhayander worked hard for the success of the competition.

Glanny D'Costa, Benjamin Miranda, Kevin D’Souza, Kenny Zuzarte, Antony Tauro, Joseph D’Silva, Lawrence D’Souza and Ancy D’Souza were the evaluators.
