Hyderabad, Nov 23 (IANS): NumberMall Private Limited, a payment gateway services platform, on Monday announced acquisition of Delhi-based BankSmarts Solutions for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition will extend Hyderabad-based NumberMall's analytics capability, customer reach and merchant offers.

The development is expected to enable new classes of products and services that meet customer needs in assisted ecommerce, the company said in a statement.

"With this acquisition, we are adding the unparalleled analytics capabilities of BankSmarts to NumberMall's competencies," said Kiran Gali, founder and CEO of NumberMall.

Set up in 2012, NumberMall has so far serviced more than 30 million customers on its platform through 16,000 touch points. Personalisation through analytics will help its users to drive sales much better and faster, he added.

"The assisted ecommerce space is addressing a very large opportunity, and NumberMall is one of the leaders in the space," said Subinder Khurana, founder and CEO of BankSmarts.
