Mangaluru, Nov 21: It has now transpired that two inmates of the district prison here fought with each other on November 17. The prison had witnessed brawls between prisoners in the past too, the latest of which had ended in double murder.
It is gathered that fight broke out between prisoners, Iftikar Alam and Muhammed Arif when having breakfast on Tuesday.
Both of them were in the same cell. Allegedly, Muhammed Arif not only rained expletives at Alam, but also hit him in the temple and left hand besides injuring the left side of Alam's neck by scratching him with his nails.
