Gold up slightly despite stronger US dollar


Chicago, Nov 11 (IANS): Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange rose slightly on Tuesday although a stronger US dollar put pressure on the precious metal.

The most active gold contract for December delivery rose $0.4, or 0.04 percent, to settle at $1,088.50 per ounce, reported Xinhua.
