Corporation Bank Q2 net up 17.50 percent


Manguluru, Nov 7 (IANS): Corporation Bank on Saturday said it posted a stand-alone net profit of Rs.188.60 crore for the second quarter of 2015-16 against a net profit of Rs.160.50 crore in the same period last year.

The net profit increased by 17.50 percent on a quarter-on-quarter basis.

According to the reviewed financial results posted on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the bank's total income from operations rose to Rs.5,434.65 crore from Rs.5,229.05 crore in Q2 2014-15.

Corporation bank incurred a total expenditure of Rs.4,572.09 crore in the analysed quarter against Rs.4,591.07 crore in the year ago quarter.
